Caregivers (mainly mothers) will have more time for work and professional self-development.

The First Playground was Built in Bagaran

This transformation took place in Bagaran community, Armavir region. It was meant to be a simple playground for children, but surprisingly turned to be a favorite gathering place for all the villagers regardless of their age.

Fundraising Dinner

On March 14, 2019, ISSD NGO’s co-founder Irina Mkrtchyan and UC Davis Humphrey fellow Kristel Noges, with the support of all UC Davis Humphrey fellows have organized international fundraising dinner to support “Swings” project. The event has been supported by International House Davis, UC Davis Global Affairs and UC Davis Humphrey team. During the event the participants enjoyed home-made dinner from Armenia, Estonia, Russia, Georgia and other countries. We are happy to announce that raised funds were used for implementation of Swings project in Bagaran village (Armavir). We’d like to thanks all the attendees, donors, supporters and partners.

Benefit from Armat Social Project

Our partner Ibis Center Yerevan has also joined our Armat social project. By purchasing 200 pots of mint, Ibis Yerevan Center helped us get one step closer to building a playground for children in Bagaran community. Within Armat social enterprise we have gathered villagers from various communities (mainly frontier), who grow herbs in pots and ensure stable financial income for their families. ISSD team would like to thank the management and all the staff of Ibis Yerevan Center. Armat would not be possible without support of our partners Acba Federation, AGBU Armenia and Impact Hub Yerevan.

If you wish to support the project by donating any of the above-mentioned items, funds or support in any other way, please contact our team.
